Rentsys Recovery to Discuss Disaster Recovery Experiences, Solutions at North Texas ACP Meeting

College Station, TX – January 4, 2012 – Rentsys Recovery Service’s Steve O’Neal will give a presentation entitled “Alternative Strategies for Recovering Companies” at the January monthly chapter meeting for the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) North Texas Chapter. The meeting will be held on January 10th at 12 p.m. in Irving, TX.

O’Neal will speak about what companies can learn from businesses that recovered during Katrina, Ike and other major catastrophic events during the past decade.

“You never know what a disaster will bring, but you can learn from others’ experiences and make sure you have the appropriate recovery solutions in place,” said O’Neal. “Rentsys Recovery has the advantage of having worked with several types of businesses – from small companies to large corporations – through many types of disasters, so we are able to provide our clients informed input on the solutions that would work best for them.”

The presentation will also address things businesses should consider when evaluating different recovery strategies, including recovery time objectives, recovery point objectives, cost of downtime, client location(s) and customer requirements. O’Neal will discuss how to choose between alternative recovery strategies such as Business Recovery Centers, Mobile Recovery Centers and Quickship technology solutions.

The event will be held at Boy Scouts of America, 1325 West Walnut Hill Lane, Irving, TX 75015. For more information, visit northtx.acp-international.com.
